Apr 28th Topic: Accountability Gaps in Toxic Leadership

  • Leader(s) are behaving in harmful, dysfunctional, or self-serving ways without meaningful consequences

  • The organization is enabling the above behavior, or looks the other way

  • Blame flows outward from the leader(s), never inwards

  • Leaders’ stress, insecurity, or ego becomes everyone else’s burden

  • It feels unsafe or pointless to provide feedback to the leader(s) because of previously demonstrated retaliation, dismissal, or no change afterwards
