  • You’re busy taking care of others and tend to forget about taking care of yourself

  • You get too little sleep, skip meals, and/or skip routine screenings and tests your doctor recommends

  • Your mental and physical health is an afterthought and you’re frequently pushing through your body’s signals (i.e. fatigue, pain, etc.)

  • You’re frequently feeling overwhelmed and/or experiencing burnout

  • You feel guilty taking time for yourself and/or it feels indulgent

To gather in community with other change agents to expand your network, share expertise, grow your skills, and learn from others’ experiences on this topic.

There’s 200 change agents in the community, with 5-12 attending each call from different backgrounds (i.e. IT, biotech / pharma, environmental, social change, finance, coaching, consulting, etc.) and experience levels (i.e. entry level to C Suite). Here’s what other attendees have had to say:

“This was great! The most important thing I got out of the call was helpful tools to advocate for myself with resistant people. Good session. My greatest surprise was how much discussion / ideas / learning from others was fostered in the session, and how we had similar self-advocacy challenges. The most important thing I got was increasing my listening skills can help me be heard! Keep the interactive coaching approach; having a space to do some guided thinking and sharing is very powerful. The most important thing I got was more ideas and a good refresher of self-advocacy practices. I enjoyed the highlights from research of benefits of self-advocacy beyond the more obvious external motivations. A reminder that others also struggle here too but may have different challenges. It's nice to remember when things get difficult. Great discussion! Conversation was inclusive, friendly and helpful. We appreciate these sessions. Thank you!” - Attendees from May 27th “Advocating for Yourself at Work” Change Agent Community Call

“It was great! The most important thing I got out of the call was ways to help deal with being more resilient and maintaining it, and learning I am not alone. Interesting to realize that we're all dealing with essentially the same issues regardless of what we do/who we are. The most important thing I got out of the call was reminders of how resilience is the key to health and productivity, and ways to maintain resilience amid the chaos of change. The most important thing I got was a reminder of certain ways to be resilient and ideas on new ways. I was surprised by the amount of ways there are to be resilient that I hadn't thought of. There are a lot of ways to offset uncertainty, many of which revolve around taking control of my life, health, habits, mental health, etc. My greatest surprise was the supportive and open communication among all participants. Thanks Rosanne and all, happy to meet you. Thanks everyone!” - Attendees from Apr 29th “Resilience in Times of Uncertainty” Change Agent Community Call

“I appreciated Tuesday's conversation so much. The most important thing I got out of the call was creative and safe ways to engage stakeholders to get them to contribute and provide insights. I was surprised by how many solutions were discussed I could directly apply to my situations. I thought it was a really insightful discussion. It was reassuring and validating to hear from others in similar positions facing similar workplace challenges. My greatest surprise was I am not alone in dealing with difficult and challenging situations. My greatest surprise was ironically, how not-quiet the call was. Thank you.” - Attendees from Apr 1st “Dealing with Quiet Stakeholders / A Cricket Meeting” Change Agent Community Call

“The most important thing I got out of the call was reasons to either stay or make a career move. The most important thing I got was deciding when to make a career move is multifaceted and there are internal and external factors that are important to consider. My greatest surprise from the call was an aha moment, being aware of and discussing leadership succession plans. My greatest surprise from the call was I need to do more assessments. Thank you Rosanne” - Attendees from Mar 4th “Deciding When to Make a Career Move” Change Agent Community Call

“My greatest surprise from the call was everyone has some level of difficulty of finding and making connections whether in person or remotely. The most important thing I got out of the call was an opportunity to connect, and a couple of ideas about other ways to connect. The Why it Matters is my favorite. I like this guessing/game-type of slide. Thanks folks! Thank you for leading the session!” - Attendees from Feb 4th “Finding Connection Working Remotely” Change Agent Community Call
